Automation Challenge Solution (RPA Challenge) using Blueprism

Hi RPA Team,

I have cracked the interesting automation challenge from http://rpachallenge.com/.

Instructions

1. The goal of this challenge is to create a workflow that will input data from a spreadsheet (http://rpachallenge.com/challenge.xlsx) into the form fields on the screen.
2. Beware! The fields will change position on the screen after every submission, throughout 10 rounds, thus the workflow must correctly identify where each spreadsheet record must be typed every time.
3. The actual countdown of the challenge will begin once you click the Start button; until then, you may submit the form as many times as you wish without receiving penalties.
   
   
   
   Solution:
   
   
   • Try to spy the labels using HTML mode and uncheck all attributes except two : Value and Match Index.
   • Keep the attribute "Value" as dynamic and "Match Index" as static = 2
   • Use a reader stage and try to get the HTML path of any one label by giving the label name as input to "Value" attribute in params.
   • Try to get the HTML path of the corresponding text box using another element.
   • There is a minor difference in both the HTML paths. The label will be having "LABEL" as a parameter in HTML path whereas the text box will be having it as "INPUT".
   • Replace the string "LABEL" as "INPUT" using calculation stage and that's how the HTML path of text boxes are obtained to enter the data from excel.
